BluStreak Navigator, the Blu-ray Menu Authoring tool for Macintosh, will be released in two versions, Standard and Mastering.
BluStreak Navigator Standard, to be offered at $449, will output spec-compliant UDF 2.5 disc images that may be burned to BD-R and BD-RE and played in Blu-ray hardware or software players.
BluStreak Navigator Mastering, offered at $699, will also output spec-compliant CMF images for replication.
Both versions require additional 3rd party software to encode and multiplex the assets to be used, but all menu design and navigation is accomplished in Navigator, with point-and-click tools.
Navigator Standard is now targeted for release in Jan. 2009, and Mastering for release in April.

GUI
Will Bluestreak Navigator have a user friendly GUI (like DVDSP) or be a command oriented nightmare ,for those of us that are more editor then codehead ;-)

Summer Upgrades Only
We feel very disappointed that HD DVD failed and we never delivered on our promise. We of course lost a lot of money, but that is not your problem.
So we have decided to offer a rebate of $249 after purchase of BluStreak Navigator Mastering to those that purchased DVDAfterEdit ME and then later purchased the upgrade. We believe that those who purchased only the combo offer for DVDAfterEdit ME and HDAfterEdit received fair value with the SD product alone.
We are doing this as a rebate in order to not complicate the new web store we are building. The process will be to send us an email that identifies the account that purchased the upgrade, and we will mail you a check.
Regards,
Larry
What about DVDAfterEdit/HDAfterEdit owners ?
Will there be a special discount for us ?
