I've got a project that uses mixed-angle video streams. On a stand-alone player it functions as expected. However, on PC/Mac the playback is not consistent. On some software players not all angles play, subtitles disappear or playback hangs. I've tried a couple of different muxes using DVD Studio Pro and DVDAfterEdit to configure some GPRM code. I'm using Toast 9 to burn with Verbatim media.
Hi does anyone know of a utility or software that will allow me to insert Closed Captioning Info (Scc file ) into a MPeg 4 stream
the mpeg 4 stream is standard definition not High Definition.
Thanks
Tony
Greetings, those of you still reading this forum. (And I actually think there are still a goodly number of you out there, lurking.)
Recently I've been wondering if I could dispense with DLT delivery and switch to USB thumb drives (which have become hella cheap). Is this practical or will I find that most replicators are unwilling to accept these in place of tape?
If you were given a VIDEO_TS folder and asked to determine if the video had been flagged for CSS and Macrovision and didn't have Eclipse or MEI, what could you do (if anything) to make that determination?
Let me know...
Michael
Greetings to everyone still making DVDs!
Hi All,
The forums were fairly heavily spammed this moring, we've cleaned up the mess and blocked the spammer's IP, but if the attacks continue we may have to close the forums for maintainance.

Hi Guys
Just trying to get a definitive answer on this. Will a DS Store file present in the VIDEO_TS folder cause a problem for many players?
A client of mine has relocated to NYC from northern CA (where I am located) and needs a new run of a previous job. The discs will need to be delivered to him in NYC. If someone has experience with replication lines in the NYC area that will handle a short-run (~2500) and wants to make a recommendation to me, I'd be most appreciative.
Thanks!

hallo,
I´ve got a question concerning one of the multi-angle-films that´s on the disk.
there´s on film on the disk called "drive" within the angle-menu. it got 2 angle and (like dvdafteredit described) 1! (one) stereo AC3-file.
but if you change the angle, you´re getting a different audio!
hey everybody!
I would like to send you nice X-MAS-greetings and a happy new year.
all the best
danny
