Copying a non-protected DVD to disk-Drag or rip?

Hi

I have a lot of non-protected DVD5 that I need to dump to disk to remove old logos and stuff.
Is it the same to copy by dragging the VIDEO_TS folder to the hard drive or should I rip the disk with
MacTheRipper?
Sounds like a silly question, doesn't it?
Thanks in advance

How do I change the order of VTS's in a project without big hassle?

Hi guys,

I have a couple of DVD9 projects that consist of one or two VTS. There is really nothing fancy to do, except remove old warnings (sometimes in VMG, and sometimes in VTSM), and replace 4:3 studio ident with 16:9 one when appropriate.

Quits on Replace VTS

I downloaded the newest DVDAE ME version but I'm still having this problem, as soon as I select Replace VTS the program shuts down. Tried it on MBP and G5 Quad both have latest OS and QT installed.

Cannot read from DLT made by 3rd party

Hi guys.

I've got a couple of old projects on DLT made by another company, presumably in Scenarist 2.7.
When I'm trying to read the DLT's back using either DVDAE, or DDPAB I am getting an error message MISSING FILE MARK
Reading DDP failed.

How do I generate a 6 PGC VTS?

Hi

I have to replace one VTS in one of those dreaded all-in-one-VTS DVDs.
There's the FBI warning first, then the company logo, a publicity video and 3 50-minute video chapters. When I open the VIDEO_TS folder with AfterEdit,
I see one VTS with 6 PGCs.

Invalid VTS information

I'm having a bad run here - two masters rejected for the same client, at the same time, for different reasons.

One is the "VOBU length and number of sectors disagree" thing which is discussed at length a few posts back. Fine - I'm submitting on DLT instead of DVD-R for that one.
