I've aged a lot in the last few days!
I've got a job here which is freezing in a certain Pioneer player at the same point every time BECAUSE a seamless layer break is being placed there without my permission. The authoring (in DVD SP) clearly tells the layer break to occur on a designated cell and NOT to be seamless.

Larry, is it possible that a DDP image (DVD-9 w/ CSS) that I created with DAE, verified and burned a DVD+R DL from that for testing, showed no errors, but the replicator can't seem to be able to create a DVD+R DL with the DVD-R's (Layer 0/1) I sent to him ? Although Eclipse Analysis passed.

We sent two DVD-Rs to a replicator each containing the same DDP 2.0 image for a single layer title. Were now getting fatal errors from their Eclipse analysis:

location: 196,608 Input shorter than expected
location: 2,413,135 Unreadable sector in file
location: 2,413,391 Unreadable sector in file

Can you explain to me why, when I mount a disc image created from a DDP (dual layer) and I open it with DAE, it popups a message telling me that it has converted seamless playback flag to non-seamless because it is the chosen layer break ? I already did that before creating the DDP, the cell was non-seamless.

I just read 2 posts about this issue but I'm not sure if it's exactly what I got.

I got the Eclipse report saying this error with DSI higher than Actual value. I then ran a Compare of the DDP with the VIDEO_TS and Disc Image. Both tests failed with the same log error. Here is the last few lines:

Everything is OK until I hit "Start" in the format panel.
the tape is being loaded normally...

nothing seems to happen at this point

I have recently been made aware of a potential issue with AE and the latest version of RipGuard and I was hoping for some help.

I supplied a project for replication that was flagged for CSS and Macrovision Type 2 - RipGuard to be added at the factory.

The replicator contacted me saying there was a problem and that RipGuard could not be applied.

I have a release I'm working on where after the legalese and logos there're 3 different trailers that couldn't be skipped.
I ok'd all the UOPs on each one, and I can jump from anyone of them to the Menu, but I cannot make the Next or Skip button work.
