Hi LP,
Yes. Only Seamless Branching and Tracer should be tested in this version; nothing else.
Glad to see you got a VIDEO_TS folder opened up! :-) (We're opening everything just fine, here. Please let us know about trouble opening up projects).
Thanks,
Trai

Still can't open my projects yet (It's always been a file from TF downloads). Funny thing is I was able to import a VTS :-)

Hi Trai
I could open my projects ok. However I noticed an error dialog.
I opened one project, then I opened another (without closing the first). After the second project opened, I clicked the close button on the first project (the window appeared behind the second project). Immediately after this first project window closed, I saw the following error:
Signal Raised
Condition: !(!deleteBegun)
Function AddReference
File: ApplicationPendingOp.h
Line #43
I pressed the log button thinking it would copy this info to the log window, but after pressing it I saw another error dilaog (different one) - sorry I missed the detail & pressed log again & got another one (different again). I opened the log window but there was nothing there, so I was mistaken. I will try to reproduce in a tic.
Regards
Michael.

Hi Michael,
Trai, John, and I have been trying to reproduce the problems reported by you and Marc without success. These problems are probably related to a new scheme that was introduced in 3.0 to reduce the possibility of program code using information erroneously in structures that have already been deleted from other places in the code. (This is a really good idea that John came up with).
Unfortunately many types of errors only show themselves in certain hardware and software configurations. So when we can't easily reproduce a problem, it is really important to us to know everything possible about your environment.
Beta Testers, please tell us your machine characteristics (G4 or G5, speed, memory, disk drive types and speeds, etc.), and the operating system revision level you are running on when a problem occurs. I'll copy that info to the notes area of my address book so you won't have to repeat it next time, unless the characteristics change.
Thanks for all of your efforts.
Regards,
Larry

Hi Larry
After trying tp reproduce this dozens of times, I could get it to happen about 3 times. I can confirm - no tracer used or needed to reproduce this situation i.e. it can happen just as I suggested originally. However I think I got it to happen more often if I clicked the first project's title bar and dragged it so that the close etc buttons were off-screen and then dragged it back so these buttons were visible again prior to closing it - but I think this is just a coincidence..
Anyway I took note of the contents of the other 2 dialogs.
After the first dialog I noted earlier, here are the others that appear.
Signal Raised
Condition: !(references)
Function: ReleaseReference
File: ApplicationRenderingOp.h
Line: #30
then
Signal Raised
Condition: !(!deleteBegun)
Function: AddReference
File: ApplicationRenderingOp.h
Line: #43
(I think the above is the same as the first one)
The cycle of these dialogs occured about 3 times again before they ceased to appear.
Not really much, but hope that helps anyway.
Regards
Michael.
