TFDVDEdit 3.0b5

Still can't open any project without getting an error.

SIGNAL RAISED - CONDITION: !(!RemainingReferences()), FUNCTION: __dt, FILE: ApplicationPendingOp.h, LINE: 295
OBJECT: TReferenceCountedObject

The beta Trai sent me directly does open my projects.

One thing in noticed is the project size displayed at the top says. 199.16 Gb?

Hi All,

Liquid Panther has uncovered a problem that has not been made clear enough in our instructions, and which will lead to more validation and fixes in a future release.

You must always build from your authoring program to an "enclosing folder", never directly to a hard drive. TFDVDEdit considers everything in the enclosing folder as the contents of the DVD. The VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders contain the DVD video (and audio, or more typically just an empty folder), and everything else is the ROM data. The ROM data is measured when choosing a layer break, and is always placed on the DVD after the DVD video, regardless of folder and file names.

When extracting (restoring) an image to a disk folder, TFDVDEdit deletes everything in the enclosing folder before doing the extraction. If this were a hard drive, it would delete everything on the hard drive.

A later release will not permit an enclosing folder to be a hard drive, and will require confirmation for extracting to a folder with a large number of files or a lot of data in it.

Thanks, LP

Larry
