Non-seamless layer break cell won't "stick"

I understand there's a bug with this functionality, so some clarification would be appreciated.

I currently have a project muxed in DVD Studio Pro. I inserted all of the cells there, including the one which is to be the layer break cell.
On loading in DVDAE, DVDAE has already picked the cell I intended as the layer break cell - no problem.

However, every time I load the project, I'm told that the cell has been set to non-seamless - even if I trash all of the preferences files in my /Users/USERNAME/Library/Preferences/ folder. If I'm still getting the message "The seamless or discontinuity flags were changed on 1 Cells of this project" even after trashing the preferences folder, does this mean that the changes haven't "stuck"?

I'm using Snow Leopard on this machine if that's an issue, but will try on my other machine...

Yes, it has to do with

Yes, it has to do with preference files getting confused, so your project is fine.

Seems to be a non issue

Hi Larry, thanks for that offer.
A few days ago I ignored the warning and wrote the project to DLTs. Today I restored these and opened the restored project in DVDAfterEdit, and got no warning from the restored version. I assume that means the error message was a false alarm?

I am not sure under which

I am not sure under which circumstances, but I have heard of this problem before and was unable to determine the cause. Your best bet is to set the cell to be non-seamless in DVDStudio Pro. If you can mail me the project as it is now on DVD-R, I will look into it further. (PO Box 1038 Lotus CA 95651).

But more recently, Eclipse has relaxed the checking of that error. So it may or may not cause playability problems, I just don't know, or if the cell was set seamless or not. With another unreleased tool we wrote I will be able to tell more.

Regards,

Larry
