For correct the pb i need to modify in the Cell the "Cell playback mode" from :

Possible workaround

Hi ArthurS,

I'm sorry you're having problems, I know how frustrating a bug like this can be. I think Larry asked you to upload your original test project to troubleshoot - we never saw it arrive on the server, for some reason.

Unfortunately I don't think this issue will be fixed in Version 3, I'm afraid. All the programming effort is currently focused on the new version ( which will be better in every respect, I have to say ! ) and in the meantime there are unlikely to be changes for relatively minor issues like this.

This isn't an issue I have had a problem with myself, however I have done some tests today and can confirm your observation - Tracer is pausing at the end of some VTSM PGCs, and not stepping to the post-commands. It doesn't apply to most PGCs, though, in my projects, and I haven't been able to narrow down exactly what triggers the problem. I have a suspicion it is related to the Cell Still Time - when you first open your projects in DVDAE after building in DVDSP, what is this set to ? How do you have the menus set up in DVDSP - still, timeout or loop ? I am hopeful that if you set it to "loop", you will not see this problem.

Even if my guess is wrong, I also have an easier workaround for you to try - just click the "Play" button in Tracer's Remote section when you see this problem, and things will continue as they should. Obviously it's not an ideal solution, but it will allow you to use Tracer for preliminary testing, after which you can confirm it works as expected in the Apple Player.

I hope this is helpful, please let me know how you get on,

Cheers,

Ian
