re Authoring DVD-9 with ROM Part

Hi there,

i have to build a new master from a DVD-9 wich isn't copyprotected.
The client wants me to integrate a copy protection (css) to the new master.
I think this is not a problem with DVDafterEdit?

But the disc contains a DVD-ROM Part... Can DVDAfterEdit do a new Master (Layer0 and Layer1) as a DATA DVD with CMF 1.0 Files containing also the ROM-Part?

if so, i'll buy the software...

Hi Rolf,

Sorry for the delay in answering. The short answer is - yes ! You just need to include the new ROM data in the VIDEO_TS's "enclosing folder", and Format the project as a "Tape Image", making sure the "Format for CSS" option is ticked. Everything else can be left as default, unless your ROM data is PC-only, in which case you can untick "Include Macintosh ROM Data".
