hallo everybody,
the day before yesterday I recieved my package of CCE SP2.
I was very happy until I tried to install the programm. There was an error-massage coming up, that said: "CCE SP2 only runs on a computer that supports SSE or Enhanced 3D NOW ! since this computer does not support either, setup canceled!"
I know that all my intel-macs got teh SSE2-extentions and my MAC PRO got the SSE3, too and the demo is working fine ! so what´s the clou? anyone got an idea?
I´m waiting for an answer from support, I keep you informed.
But probably someones got it working, if so, please let me know.

Here's a link you probably can use
Did you check the CinemaCraft web site? Here's a link to the updates page:

I solved the problem with the support-note from CCE:
Hallo Michael,
thanks for the post, but the web-link is broken. It´s good to know that it could work so fast, I got 2.42-fast with the CCE basic, that I got before. I really like to see this picture ;)
I could solve the problem with this email from the support:
The installer program ver 1.00.00.01 to 05 can not recognize new processor like Intel Core Duo, Solo, Core 2 Duo and new Xeon.
To install SP2 into those PC, you need to update your installer program with the updater.
Please download the following updater and update your installer program from the CD.
[UPDATER for 1.00.00.01]
ftp://ftp.cinemacraft.com/outgoing/sp2/1000013/ccesp2_1000013u.zip
This program creates new installer program, then launch the new installer.
-------------------------------
there´s no information about this, nor in the installation-guide neither on the website, so I ask them to post a information about that in the FAQs on their website.

It seems like it should work...and it should be very fast! ;->
People are doing it. I found the posting below on the Tully Archives. What came in the box might not be the lastest/greatest so you should look for an update on the CCE website. Also, if you purchased it from Ray Wallick, he should be able to support your installation.

First off, for those that don't like to read more than the first two
sentences, the latest version of CCE-SP2 running under BootCamp is
extremely fast. Specifically, we have now seen speeds over 10x, but I
can't get a screen capture fast enough. I do have a screen grab of the
speed at 9.44. http://70.47.26.70/CCE-SP2_BootCamp.gif If you look
closely at the icons in the system tray, you'll see the Apple Keyboard
Support icon so you know it's not on a PC.
For those that want the details, here goes. The MacPro is the dual
2.66GHz version with 2GB or RAM. We installed two Maxtor SATA II 500GB
drives in two of the extra drive slots. One is formatted as HFS+, and
the second is dedicated to XP under BootCamp formatted NTFS. The
install of XP under BootCamp is painless. We just ran the BootCamp
Assistant, burned the Macintosh Drivers CD, and rebooted with the XP
install CD. It was probably one of the easiest XP installs I've had to
do. Once XP was up and running, we ran the installer for version
1.00.00.10 of CCE-SP2. This is now available on the Cinema Craft
website. Sorry Ray if I'm stealing thunder on a public announcement of
the updater. Using FCP 5.1 and a Black Magic DeckLink HD Extreme, we
captured SD video directly to the HFS+ formatted Maxtor drive. Once we
had video captured, we rebooted into XP. Using MacDrive 6.1.5, we are
able to read/write data directly from the HFS+ formatted volumes. We
loaded the video from the FCP captures into CCE-SP2, and away she goes.
We've done several tests, and this is very consistent. It bursts over
10, but it's averaging around 9.5. The thing that blows me away is that
this is just an ordinary SATA II drive, not a RAID configuration at all.
