Creating New Content Pages

There are three kinds of content pages:

• Pages
• Book pages
• Stories

We use book pages for almost all the content on the DVDAfterEdit site, as they are designed to create a content hierarchy.

We use pages only for a few items that are not part of a hierarchy, such as the Page Not Available screen.

Stories are used only for ephemeral content, such as news items.

To create a new content page, you can either:

• Click on "add child page" at the bottom of an existing page. This is the easiest way to tuck a new book page into an existing hierarchy.
• Click on one of the sub-items under "Create Content" in the bottom section of your left-side navigation panel.
